Crowd Intelligence

- My role
- Launch communication — email and product video. Product UI by the client.
Problem
Crowd Intelligence had finished a new product — an AI assistant that runs inside Oracle NetSuite — and needed to announce it. The job was to tell existing clients and new leads that it existed, that it was available, and what it actually did.
Constraint
I was designing for an audience I didn't have: finance and operations teams who spend their day inside an ERP. Before drawing anything I had to understand what Crowd does, what NetSuite is, and what its users already put up with. The piece had to separate them from their competition without assuming the reader knew the category.
Decisions
I led with what the user types, not with the interface. For a conversational product, a screenshot explains less than the sentence someone would actually write. The video opens on «Muéstrame las facturas creadas en 2026» before it shows a single screen.
I put the three reasons above the feature list. NetSuite is a complex platform and Crowd's integrations are dense. Someone scrolling an email decides in seconds, so the reasons to care come before the proof that it works.
Everything resolves inside the email. Product, value, pricing and call to action, in one piece. Nobody has to click through to find out what it costs.
What I learned
The material was already in the product. Most of the work was reading documentation and asking questions until I understood what the assistant actually does; the design came after that, and it came faster than usual because there was something real to say.
